DocuSign stock (Nasdaq: DOCU) stock is on fire this morning after the company reported its third quarter earnings after the closing bell on Thursday. As of the time of this writing, DOCU stock is up over 20% to $101.16 per share. Here’s what you need to know.
DocuSign Q3 2025 results beat
For DocuSign’s third quarter of fiscal 2025, which ended on October 31, the company reported strong growth in several critical areas, including total revenue, subscription revenue, and billings. The digital signature and contract company announced the following:
- Total revenue: $754.8 million (up 8% year-over-year)
- Subscription revenue: $734.7 million (up 8% YOY)
- Billings: $752.3 million (up 9% YOY)
- Adjusted earnings per share: 90 cents
To put the most critical of those figures into more perspective, DocuSign beat analyst estimates on both revenue and earnings per share, according to GuruFocus. Analysts had been expecting revenue of $745.3 million and an EPS of 87 cents.
Increased full-year revenue outlook
Besides the earnings beat, another factor in the company’s surging stock price this morning is likely that the company raised its full-year fiscal 2025 forecast. The company is currently in the middle of its Q4 2025, and its full fiscal year ends on January 31.
For that full fiscal year, DocuSign now says it expects total revenue to be between $2.959 billion and $2.963 billion. Its previous full-year fiscal forecast was between $2.94 billion and $2.95 billion.
That increase, while minor, shows the company has confidence in its sales trajectories.
DOCU has had a good 2024
While DocuSign the company has had a good fiscal 2025 so far, the stock has had a fantastic calendar-year 2024. Thanks to the 205+ surge in the stock price this morning, DOCU stock has now risen over 68% year-to-date.
At just over $101 per share, the stock is at both a YTD high as well as a one-year high.
